At the Zoo

Shraavi Borkar 3C

Hurray! The long-awaited summer holidays had finally come. My family and I decided to go to the city zoo. There was hustle and bustle everywhere. First, we went to see the elephants. The elephants were huge. The giraffes towered above us. The zebras looked handsome with the black and white stripes. The monkeys were the most active of all the animals. They were making faces at us. They were eating fruits and nuts. We then ate ice-creams at the ice-cream stall. Then it was time to leave. I felt sad because the animals were in cages for the pleasure of us human beings.
