Sparkling Moments

– Preeana Shah 4C

It’s almost the new year,

So many months have passed by,

Soon we will celebrate,

But not online

It seems like it’s been forever,

That covid has been there,

When will we get to go to school,

Or play with our friends?

My only wish is that this pandemic ends,

So I get to see my teachers or have fun with my bus friends,

I remember the good old days,

We would share our food and go out to play

These memories shine in my mind,

They glitter in my heart,

And make me smile

I assure you,

Schools will start,

And we will get to have fun,

But for now,

Let us enjoy these precious moments,

For they will never come back
