EVERY HUNDRED YEARS

100,000 years ago

Only cavemen lived

With quite a few animals

Which the cavemen killed.

They built carts with wheels

And don’t get me wrong

But to use those carts

You had to push and be really strong.

In the 21st century

You get all types of cars

Self driving,convertibles

And extra extra large!

This change made our lives easier

Well some of it did not

But change just like everything

Has its pros and cons.

Take AI for example

All the students use it

You write your essay on your own

And AI will improve it.

Some say it makes us lazier

and I don’t completely disagree

it does all my work for me

while I sit completely free.

Change is all around us

And we have to accept it

Otherwise in the future

We’re going to regret it.

In the year 2050

Robots will rule the earth

And when we rely on them

We will be as useful as a pile of dirt.

I’m not saying we completely accept them

And I’m not saying we fight

But we should stay somewhere in the middle

Exactly where its right.

And yes we can halt their rule

Right from today

If instead of hurting each other

We use our minds the right way
