Cars are the most popular modes of transport. They were invented by Karl Benz. While inventing the vehicle, Karl Benz was competing with the Mercedes engine. The first car was built by Ford and was named Ford Model T. One of the fastest cars is the Bugatti Veyron. Today there are more than 40 crore cars of various models, colours, shapes and sizes on the world’s roads. NASA has taken this to another level of innovation and has already invented a flying car but not taken it to the market yet. A car named McLaren F1 Supercar is rare because only 126 were built. Ford built the fastest American automobile. It was originally named Ford GT 240. Later, it was renamed to Mustang GT. The famous Mercedes has three types : Mercedes, Mercedes Maybach and Mercedes AMG. F1 has a Mercedes AMG as an ambulance. Did you know Rudolph Diesel invented the diesel engine? Cars are my favourite and are very interesting and even more intriguing when learnt about in detail.

Mumbai is a city that never sleeps. It is full of hustle and bustle, and full of life. Mumbai, earlier known as Bombay, is the capital of Maharashtra and is also known as the financial capital of India. Mumbai is called ‘the land of opportunities’ as people from all over India come into this city with a hope in their heart and dream in their eyes. Hence, it is the most populated city in India. The name ‘Mumbai’ comes from the temple ‘Mumba Devi’. Mumbai has beautiful beaches, gardens and monuments. It is a city with diversity, with mix of people living together in harmony. Mumbai is the birthplace of Hindi cinema. The city celebrates all festivals with lot of joy and happiness, Ganesh Chaturthi being the most important. The railways are said to be the lifeline of the city as they connect all parts of the city. The street food of Mumbai is Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji and Chaat. We, the people of Amchi Mumbai, are known for our never say die spirit. We have bravely stood up against terrorist attacks, natural disasters and other such tragedies. Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan.
